ILEA Institutional Members’ Forum – Spring Meeting in Toronto, Friday June 17th.  10:30 am to 2:30 pm (working lunch provided)

Agenda Topics:

• update on Ministry resource documents for secondary and elementary IL (2011-2012)
• update on challenge evaluations for language programs for adult leaners with Jonathan Brown of the Ministry of Education-summer program sharing
• setting objectives for ILEA for 2011-2012-ELECTION of new Chair Elect (Fani Papadopoulos finishes as Chair and moves on to Past Chair;  Maria Makrakis becomes Chair; Chair Elect to be decided at the meeting)
• CALL – computer assisted language learning – will demonstrate OCENET (Ottawa Public Board) and NECTAR (Ottawa Catholic Board) learning objects for ELLs (discussion on what computer uses exist for language programs in school boards)
