Please see attached a competition that TDSB and Qiaoban (Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council) has organized. This competition is for Grade 7 (C 12 Chinese students and tests their knowledge of History, Geography and Culture of China.The competition will be held at Woodbine Junior High School on April 16, 2011 at 1:00-3:00 pm. Students who achieve 80 percent and above are invited to go to Qingdao for 2 weeks from July 15 (C 28 to participate in a semi-final competition with other countries. They will also have priority to participate in a one week student camp to be held in Shanghai from July 9 (C 15. An information session will be held on Wednesday, March 30th from 7 (C 8 pm at Woodbine JHS.
