ILEA is happy to be representing language teachers of Ontario at the next Forum of the Ontario Teachers’ Federation to happen on May 23, 2026, in Toronto. ILEA sits on the Subject Council for both OTF as well as being the designated subject association to advise on IL matters for the Ministry of Education. This meeting will have AI as one of the focus items. ILEA representatives and members can consider any questions they have related to AI to forward to the ILEA Executive Committee for future discussion items.
