The following information comes to us from our friends at the Education Office of the Embassy of Spain. Also note that there are sessions in the attached with English descriptions that may be of interest to other educators on assessment and also on using the Sustainable Development Goals.
The Spanish Resource Centres of Edmonton, Toronto and Montreal are happy to present an activity to help Canadian teachers of Spanish practise their skills in the TERTULIA y CAFE. Although the tertulias are open to any teacher, the sessions are mainly oriented to teachers who would like to refresh their oral skills in small gatherings of few teachers to talk about different current subjects of Spanish and Latin-American culture. These tertulias are open to teachers from all provinces of Canada, so it may also be a great opportunity to network with teachers all over Canada.
Due to the COVID situation, this tertulias will take place online, which will help teachers to attend them in a more convenient way.
Please contact the Spanish Embassy for details.
Here is some information about a series of online webinars for teachers of Spanish, equally free. Here’s the link with the information: https://issuu.com/consejeriaeducacioneeuu/docs/seminario_de_invierno_?fr=sZGM1NTI2OTQ5NTQ
